Halloween Recipie: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hi friends....just another 9 days  to go to Halloween!!!
Pumpkin Choco Chip Cookies is today's recipe!!  Perfectly soft & chewy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies without being cakey.
The Ingredients needed are-
1/2 cup (1 stick or 115 grams) unsalted butter
1/4 cup (50 grams) light brown sugar
1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 Tablespoons (86 grams) pumpkin puree
1 and 1/2 cups (190 grams) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves*
1/4 teaspoon allspice*
1/2 cup (90 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a medium bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until no brown sugar lumps remain. Whisk in the vanilla and pumpkin until smooth. Set aside.
In a large bowl, toss together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together with a large spoon or rubber spatula. The dough will be very soft.  Fold in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. They may not stick to the dough because of the melted butter, but do your best to have them evenly dispersed among the dough. Cover the dough and chill for 30 minutes, or up to 3 days. Chilling is mandatory.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
Roll the dough into balls, about 2 Tablespoons of dough each. Slightly flatten the dough balls because the cookies will only slightly spread in the oven. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes. The cookies will look very soft and underbaked. Keeping them in the oven for longer may dry them out.  Remove from the oven and press a few more chocolate chips onto the tops, if desired.  If you find that your cookies didn't spread much at all, flatten them out when you take them out of the oven.
Allow the cookies to cool for at least 10 minutes on the cookie sheets before transferring to a wire rack.  The longer the cookies cool, the chewier they will be. I let them sit out for at least 1 hour before enjoying.  I find that their chewiness and pumpkin flavor is more prominent on day 2. Cookies stay soft, moist, and chewy stored at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Freezing directions: Roll the chilled dough into balls and freeze in a large ziplock bag for up to 2 months.  Baked cookies may also be frozen up to 2 months.

Do try this recipe!!!
Bye friends...have a great week :)

Halloween Recipie: Easy Halloween Cupcakes

Heyy friends! Halloween's near......

Today...I will be giving out a easy peasy halloween recipe.
Starting with cupcakes today..it will go onto greater recipes...

EASY HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES
Spider web cupcakes (or frosted cookies)  are super simple.
Start with a plain frosted cupcake, like this yellow one with salted caramel frosting.
Using a tube of black icing draw a small circle in the centre of the cupcake..Then draw two additional large circles around it..it dosen't need to be perfect as its a spider web.
Gently drag a toothpick from the center of the cupcake to the outside edge to create the web effect. Repeat this several times around the cupcake. Don't forget to use a clean toothpick for each line.

The spider web cupcakes are ready.

Now for the tombstone cupcakes it coudn't get more easier.
Get a normal cupcake again...this time do a chocolate frosting. Use a knife to gently break a graham cracker into quarters. Then write RIP with the same black icing used for web cupcakes! Cut a slit on the top of the cupcake and put in the cracker.
For more variety frost some cupcakes with orange..add sprinkles and write BOO on the crackers :D
Just with few ingredients..yummy halloween cupcakes are ready. Hope you liked it!!! Do wait for another awesome recipe!

Monsoon Fashion 2013

Hey friends, today I am gonna write about Monsoon Fashion!
:)
Fashion in the rains?” Yes of course, lets make monsoon more fashionable! ;) Fashion designers and fashionistas follow and invent latest designs and fashion trends now in the rains every year!
Monsoon 2013 is about lively yet subtle colours. The colours can be
bright pastels such as deep greens, sea colours, deep beige, olive green, light copper, blues, pinks, indigo, peach, light purple and lemon yellow. Options are endless.

Asymmetrical tunics and dresses are a hit this 2013! Vibrant ombre- dyed kaftans are also a great option! Floral prints would be another option for a cloudy day :)

Ditch the flare and flowy summer skirts and go for pencil skirts instead!
Shorts are  cumpolsary.

Jackets are totally in this season!

Shoes can make or break your image! Don't be scared, just grab bright and vibrant flip-flops matching your dress.

If not flip-flops,flat pumps will do a great job. As well as gumboots :)

Change your hairstyle with the season, won’t you?
Monsoon rain can make your hair turn dry and frizzy and dull

Tie your hair into a chick high ponytail or fishtail braids to look your fashionable best!

Accessorize in the monsoon season with some bright neon colored water proof bags, raincoats, boots, hats and belts.

Hope you all have an awesome monsoon! :)
At last a picture of my nails-

In pink!

Bye friends!!!

Book Review: The Stepsister (Fear Street #9)

Hey everybody,as promised..I am back for the review and quite before the time. As I thought next week..I really won't be able to make it,me and my family will be shifting and stuff and then my schools starting on 24th. This is the first time,I am writing a book review..quite excited and its about The Stepsister (Fear Street #9) by R.L Stine.
A Brief Summary- Fear Street -- Where Your Worst Nightmares Live...
Emily wants to like her stepsister, but it hasn't been easy. As soon as Jessie moves in, she takes over Emily's room, steals Emily's clothes, and lies to everyone. Then Emily picks up Jessie's diary and learns a horrifying secret. Is Jessie really capable of murder?
Emily tries to tell her parents, but no one believes her.
So it's up to Emily to expose the real Jessie -- if she can stay alive.
What I think about it- Its a really great book, especially for the ones who love  horror and mystery books. From the start of the book everything is quite detailed...all the events happening especially. You will just feel that you are in the place of Emily.
Emily is a bit confused character,I mean is her feeling are too mixed..you wouldn't be able to make out that exactly what's her personality is but at the right time and right place she is ready to feel frightened.
Jessie is totally giving you the feel to be the ghost...a vampire or even something more gruesome.... it will take you a good time to get to her true identity....dangerous or..
Rich who is Jessie's brother,I think his character should be explored a bit more, and another one of the important characters Nancy is as perfect as a older sister..always ready for a shoulder to cry on...to believe her little sister Emily and help her out. This is a kind of book that will make you glued to the pages ;) I wish that more of Emily's friends are there in the sequel.

Rating-I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
I hope to read more books by R.L Stine..this is the first one I have ever read by him.

Bye friends..I am going to post a interview or a guest-book soon.
I joined a art class recently, the first class is on tomorrow. :)
Have a nice weekend ahead.

Hey...I am Here!

Hiya Folks..hope you all are doing well.
I am sorry again to disappoint you all once again..just that,I really don't feel like blogging anymore! Mainly a topic dosen't strike my mind.
Hmmm lets talk about some nice things now especially..my 1 year blogoversary is just 2 weeks away. Can you imagine? Just 14 days...like 11 months have already passed by,I started this blog. With great enthusiasm,to make it one of the great AG blogs... My first goal was to get 20 followers, then 50 and then it become 100..I aimed for 120 and then 150 and now I am here at 164 followers. Other things,I am quite enjoying because my summer hols are going on...for 23 days, and just a week is left.
Now below are some fun pics.. :)

A random photo of my hands with a Virjin Mojito Krushers from KFC.
I am doing something on the Ipad. :)
